What is Freedom Comes on Wings?

Freedom Comes on Wings is a home-based art and design business located in Pennsylvania. We sell our Avian designs on products, and also take orders for customized art pieces. These custom works can be created for any number of different uses. All designs have been hand-drawn by the artist, Rebecca Cherish.

What materials do you use?

We use many different mediums when creating our designs. The majority of the artwork on this website is created by scanning in a hand-drawn sketch, and inking and coloring it on the computer with the use of a graphics tablet. Our Traditional Media portraits can be completed in almost any media requested, but are most often created with watercolor, colored pencil, and acrylic paint. Other media available by request though, please ask!

Do you take Requests?

Yes! If your species is currently unavailable, feel free to ask! Although commissions are given first priority, we try to accomodate all species requests as quickly as possible.

Do you draw other animals?

We do! Although our shop is dedicated to Avian Design, the artist is experienced with drawing many other types of animals as well. Custom Designs and Traditional Media portraits may be commissioned of other types of animals.

What methods of payments do you accept?

Our Zazzle shop is subject to Zazzle's payment methods. For commissioned works, payment can be made with any major credit card through Paypal (you don't even need an account!). Within the States, we also accept check or money order. Please be advised though, that any payment made with check or money order is subject to a waiting period for clearance before any work can be started.

How do you handle returns?

Zazzle shop product returns can be handled through Zazzle. As the other designs ordered through this site are one of a kind specifically for the customer, we do not accept returns of custom work.

How do you ship?

Digital custom designs are either sent through e-mail or uploaded to the website for a window of time where they can be downloaded by the customer. Available on request, the original sketch may be delivered via USPS. Original Sketches are not insured. Traditional Media Portraits are also sent via the USPS. Since the work is custom and cannot be replaced in the event of damaged goods, insurance and delivery confirmation must be included within the shipping costs.

Can I use your graphics on my personal site?

The Downloads section of this website provides web-quality images for use on PERSONAL websites ONLY. These images may be used freely on webpages as long as the webpage does not seek to gain a profit. Websites using these images are requested to link back to http://www.freedomonwings.com somewhere on their site. Usage on public forums and instant messengers is also permitted freely. Businesses may purchase royalties to images in order to use them on for-profit sites. If you see any of these graphics on a business-related site, please report them here.

Can I advertise on your site?

At this time, we do not have paid advertising on our website. You may provide your website address for review, however, to be placed on our Links page.

May I link to your site?

Absolutely! Banners will be made available on the Downloads webpage, or you can just use a text-based link.
